Welcome!
Got the car cleaned, and windows in it washed.
Got the kitchen cleaned up.
Ran errands.
Am doing J's mother's clothes in the laundry room.
Found a yard sale where I got this pretty new floor lamp for the sanctuary for only $8.00! The glass bowl on it is etched and has a nice floral design to it, the top ring is very feminine as well. Yay for bargains!
I have the AC unit out of the window, and the fan in, and the scented candle going. I Febreezed the carpet too.
Here's a pic of that new lamp!
I have an energy saving light bulb in it to do my part for the environment. :)
I am workign on a new big blanket for the etsy store which I will call "north woods". It's almost halfway done and I have been working on it off and on this week. It will be large enough for a couch, futon, or bed.
How's your day?

A vacation is for working right? That’s what it is in this house anyway!
We have everything all packed up and back in. The rain stopped long enough for that to happen. I got all the puggy blankets and such out of the dryer, folded and back up on the shelf. I love lavender vanilla Downy! So soft and sweet! ![]()
I have realized that since I have sold off half of the throw blankets I had in the etsy store, it’s time to make more. I know what I will be doing for the next few weeks as the cod season approaches. Crocheting like a bas***d!
The rain has just started again. If it keeps on like this, we might have some ponding going on out there like we did last time we got hit with a few days rain. ![]()
Tomorrow is gathering up the rubbish, gathering the recyclements, and getting the rubbish to the curb. Recyclements go out Wednesday night. The collector men will earn their pay this week just on us alone. LOL!
Have a good Saturday night all. Big hugs to all!! ((BIG OL HUGS))

I sold a bunch of little things that I'd posted in etsy, and have taken down from there. :) I know she made out like a bandit as well despite all the rain! Yard sales up this way are big things, very popular events, and folks go every week to all of them regularly. I know in other parts of the country, well some parts Ihave been in, yard sales are not so big. Up here, someone yells "yard sale!" they all come running! Heck, folks will actually say out loud in early march how they can't wait for it to be yard sale season! {it has it's own season I guess...}
What sold wouldn't even scratch the surface as to what J's mom has stockpiled in this house. I told J, we coudl open our own second hand rose out of it all and run it for a long time before running out of stuff to sell. {we may just do that after she leaves this earth}
I have the blankets and pet kozies in the washer machien right now. They got rained on, they need to be washed and dried to be fresh in case any of those sell in etsy. :) One man bought my pink yarn daisies, and two sets of pot holders! Another lady commented on how beautiful my colors are, that they are much nicer than most other yarn colors out there that she has seen. She bought two hot pads, and a set of pot holders. Another man bought a set of napkin rings from me. :) I am happy.
J cleaned out the front mud room. He took out lots of stuff that had been in there since heaven knows how long. We got his mom those big bucket type plastic containers, and she will is wrapping up her glassware to put away in those. Those will get stored in the mud room. {mud room = the small room you are in when entering the front door, then you enter the house through the next door in} I was just always told to call that a mud room. I don't know why.
I am going to relax now, I am tired right out. J is already alseep in his room, I can hear him snoring so loudly he sounds like he's sucking in his face! LOL! J's mom had a nice desk set. A letter opener, pen cup that is triangular shaped for photos on it's sides, and a tape holder. It's silver metallic, and has filigree on them all. Very pretty. I asked her how much she wanted for the set, she gave them to me. Very kind of her indeed. Now I need to get some scotch tape for it. I have my crochet hooks in the pen holder.
J made mushroom swiss burgers, and we had a nice meal. Now it's time for rest.
How is your weekend going?
