What a bad pic. Here's my new hair.

That after pic is pretty bad. But the hair is soo much better! It no longer gets caught on my collars, on my purse strap, in the seat belt of the car, or hangs in my face. I had almost 10" cut off! It's so much nicer now! YAY new hair!

I went to the salon this morning. The stylist didn't give me what I wanted, but it is much better anyway. J said he likes it, but I saw him staring at it, asessing it. Oh well. Here it is.



I will see if I can get a color correction done next weekend. That would be great. Blonde, with a touch of blue on the bottom behind each ear. :)
I have just gotten back home from running all kinds of errands. The store didn't have the drawer units I wanted to match the ones I got two weeks ago. They were sold out. I will have to wait until they get more. I still have some clothes in a big bag that need a place to live yet. I picked up dog food for Biscuit, and realized I'd lost my shopping list. I went to the shoe store and got shoes. Not the ones I wanted either, but they will do. It's so hard to find ladies wide 11 shoes. Now I can toss out the shoes that I have that are full of fiberglass. I took all my fiberglass work clothes to the laundromat. I washed tehm twice in th big extractor. I brought them home,and sorted through them. Some ended up being oil rags, the salvagable ones got put away. Until I can get those drawer units. I feel like a big stone has been rolled off me now that I left FGI. I miss the guys already though. I am also laughing to myself over what level of hell my former work partner is in now because I'm not there to repair his machine anymore. LOL! {the guy is mechanically challenged and was a thorn in my side}

J went to do that job out in Niskayuna. That homeowner has all sorts of work lined up for him. The homeowner is happy with that new stockade fence J built on his land so now he is going to fix other stuff on the property and home. That's good. J needed to get his butt back to work soon. If he didn't I was considering walking.

I need to get in a nap. I didn't sleep well at all last night. Nightmares plagued me. I dreamt I had to return to work at FGI as a weaver. My X from almost 15 years ago worked there as well. Like I said, it was a nightmare......

THIS is what I have to get fixed. This is the thick untamed hair I have been arguing with myself over. This is after fighting with the brush.

 

I have been bearing in mind the square shape of my face as well, and my age. This is after taking the braid out. When it's not braided, it's just a thick, fluffy mess. Braiding it keeps the fluff at bay.

I have been doing web searches of medium length hair styles and have found a few I like. I am leery though. I don't want something that will be a mistake and take 2 years to grow out. I have kept about 6 of the pix I have found. I printed them out, and sorted through them. I told J about it. The one he picked out I don't think would look that great on me. It's also a high maintenance doo which would require me blow drying and hitting it with a curling iron. It was the first one I picked though too. There is one I really like, but with a side part it may not be the best for me as I have a strong center part that comes through no matter what. Maybe if I got mousse or something to help with it. I am really leaning toward the on J picked out though. All the other hairstyles for women over 40 I didn't care for either. And I saw one that looks like Mrs. Brady's bradybunch hair that was slightly longer and more spikey. I really didn't like that one. The bobs are nice, but I have a square shaped face, and that wouldn't look that great on me either. {decisions......decisions.....} I do know I have to get something done with it. I am going to take all week to think this thing through.
