Welcome
Excerpts from one ordinary person's life.
Have you noticed any dietary changes in your diet? I have noticed something about what I am eating. Things like the following:
1. I can no longer eat any form of bacon. It makes me sick to my stomach within minutes, and I loved bacon.
2. I can't eat anything from fast food restaurants, it makes me sick to my stomach within minutes as well. I thought it was because of the fat or greasyness of it. It may not be. It may be something else.
3. If I run out of my daily multivitamin, usually I never felt any difference. Now I do. I feel poorly. I feel downright lethargic without them.
4. I have seen folks overweight like never before. Food that has less nutrients in it than it should gets stored as fat and sugars in the body. It can't all be fast food doing this.
5. I know more than 7 people in my little cirlce of friends that are diabetics. Most work with me. I have never known so many.
6. If you eat regular meals, and are still overweight, could this be the problem?
7. J's kid is a vegan. He doesn't get enough protien in his young body to make him gain muscle mass. This I know because he looks like a stick figure. Is this food actually nutrient rich like veggies are supposed to be?
8. The pharmacutical companies are stepping in to fight all kinds of widespread illnesses we never had troubles with before. Not just making better vitamins, but have you noticed all the "pecker pill" ads lately? Could the widespread use of these things suggest male sexual problems due to this frankenfood? It did give rats huge sexual problems. Over time it shrunk the size of the testicles, and rendered the rats sterile.
9. Not only can I not eat beets or anything that has beets in it, it's the beet protien that I have developed a severe allergic reaction to. So severe, having a V-8 put my ass in the hospital.
10. I loved spinach raw. I can't have that now either, nor can I have asparagus, or oatmeal. All that gives me the "runs" and causes me abdominal pain like crazy. Oatmeal I can have in very small portions, only once pre week. If I eat any more than that, I am sick from it.
11. I used to eat soybeans. I like the way they taste. I haven't been able to enjoy a handful of soybeans in the last few years because the same thing happens. I thought maybe I was allergic to fiber in my diet. It may not be the fiber at all.
Have you had trouble eating? If you have make a public post about it. I'd like to know if this is just me, or if this is happening to many people. Do you have certain foods that affect you adversly? Foods that are supposed to be good for you and you are supposed to eat?

The battle rages on right here.
If you have an hour or so to kill, I recommend watching that movie. It's a real eye opener. Now I understand what the big deal is about it. If this is allowed to spread, and that terminator gene gets out, into our many food plants, we could end up with no food. It made me think of an old movie called "Soylent Green". I think from now on, when I go to the store for food, I will frequent the "organic foods" section. To think I could have eaten GE corn in my cornflakes and not have known it pisses me off. Labels please..thank you. And they genetically modify that corn with what....E-coli? Nice. Holy catz.....

I have joined hulu.com . I have found many interesting movies, and shows to watch on my PC. I just watched "Super Size Me" in it's entirety for the first time. I have never been able to see it all at once, only in bits and pieces. It's an eye opener. I have to agree with it. % years ago, I ate one meal per day at BK. Every day. For 7 or 8 months. I went up to a size 18. I stopped. I decided a bag lunch was the better option. I have lost 6 dress sizes in the last 5 years, and feel much better.
I also watched "Raising Jeffrey Dahmer". His parents perspective about his case. The film was poorly made, and the acting in it was pretty bad. That's all I can say for that.
I will see if I ca find something else to watch.
I tried the sausage stuffing anyway. Meh.
I went to WalMart only because J wanted something in there. He got me light cream for my coffee. I noticed a portable fence going from the front door to around the side of the building. Please folks, don't go to the Black Friday madness thing in the morning. It's dangerous. The fence looked like a cattle fence for a corral. Holy catz.......

Went to Joanns and got the yarn. I got what caught my eye first. A nice grey/blue varigated cotton on sale. 4 12 oz. skeins of it. That should make a nice warm blanket for someone.
Left there to go to Walmart. It was packed big time! Screaming kids in carts, screaming kids running free in the store, just plain screaming all throughout the store. How irritating indeed. If I had behaved in such a way, my dad would have taken me out to the car and roasted my rump but good and left me in the car while he finished his shopping. I couldn't find the Velveeta. I had to ask 3 clerks where it was and only one could tell me it was in the spaghetti sauce aisle. {not with cheeses but in with spaghetti sauce???} I must have walked by it at least 4 times just trying to get away from all the screaming kids! Kids throwing things from the shelves down aisles, it was a madhouse! I finally get into the line, and leave, worn out from all of that, and disgusted with the parents of the kids in the store.
one little girl decided she wanted the dried cranberry package. Her mother told her "No. Put that down." The kid threw it halfway down the aisle almost hitting an eldery lady in the back of her head! The mother just waked over to the kid and walked by her. The kid ran up to her mother and followed her into the next aisle. The mother said not a word to the brat. Holy catz.......I was so glad to leave that store. I'm glad I don't work at Walmart. I couldn't take it. All those kids screaming, parents doing nothing about it. Oy.
Now the mac and cheese is in the oven cooking. Soon it will be done.
I am so tired. When I get a cold liket his, it knocks the hell out of me. I will eat, and try and get some rest.
What a day.
Thank you all for your well wishes. :)
