My lower back is killing me. Must be a storm coming. I will have to check the weather report.
I have to take J's mother to the cable company so she can pay that. I hope she doesn't have me running all over the damn place, today is a workday, I don't have hours to wait for her outside any of the stores while she pokes around in them.
Last night at work went fairly well. My trainee learned a little lesson. He must have forgotten how to restring a carriage on the machine over the holiday. He was doing it fine before vacation. Yesterday he had it all twisted up. I did what any good trainer would do. I cut out all 48 running threads in it, and told him he was to restring the entire thing. :) He was taking so long I would have been down for at least an hour, so I ended up restringing it myself, having him watch. It will take some doing to get this one to become a machinist. He just doesn't learn anything. Even the simplist of tasks confuses him. It's almost as if he has a learning disability. I have to really explain in depth each step, then when it's his turn to do that task, he just can't perform it at all, plows through it, making a mess of it, not folllowing directions at all, and taking three times longer to do it. {patience Puggy} I can show him something more than 5 times, and when he tries it, he doesn't do at all what I showed him. It's maddening.
Let's see what today brings.
Do I have something handmade for you here, or maybe you need a gift item for a friend/loved one?

Training can be so frustrating. I have a real love/hate relationship with orientating.
