I haven't made a middle of the night post in ages. I just got out of work to find that eBay is no longer going to allow sellers to accept checks or money orders. As of Oct. 20th, everything must be through Paypal or Propay or some other electronic means. Pre-paid credit cards will be acceptable. That's a first. I just got paid from a buyer that sent me a money order too. I wonder how this will impact eBay, if it will at all.
Just thought I'd let everyone know about this before I take my nyquil and sleep the drug induced sleep of the dead.
night all.

I am Brandon Crotts, the product manager at ProPay.I hope you had a nice sleep. To answer your question, this will definitely impact eBay but we think that will be more positive than negative. By having only electronic transactions, they will be more efficient and secure. This should make transactions easier for both buyers and sellers.
We are really excited to be teaming up with eBay. We think we can add a lot to what eBay is already doing and provide some new features for those who are looking for something different. For more information, check us out (http://propay.com/company/eBayAnnouncement.aspx).
