It's a rather chilly morning out there today, albeit sunny. Maybe it will warm up later. Sometime in the night Biscuit made her way out from between the recliner and the couch and came up to sleep with J. Now she is behind me, sleeping under my blanket. {beauty sleep} I wonder what's on today's agenda, and what this day will turn out to be. The morning paper isn't here yet. It should be shortly. [_]P.

I have the veggie garden all weeded out. The corn seems to be donig rather well out there. But the strawberry plants are only plants, no berries.

I took out both bleeding hearts, trimming them down to the ground as both have turned yellow and are dying off for the season. I have cut back the back side of one of the peony plants. The one that was closest to the one tomato I have growing has been growing toward the tomato. I cut it back to give th tomato more growing room. That seems to be doing well too. The one peony in the front garden has what look like small bulbs on top where the flowers once were. The roses are doing great too! This time I didn't run into any nasty big spiders out there. I was thankful for that.

I spent some time out on the patio with Biscuit. She likes to sit out there, only if I am with her. So we sat together enjoying the morning. J made us a nice breakfast of steak and eggs. So far today is ok.

I may stop down to the park again today to see what all is going on. If they are going to have that 'parkfest" or not. I was going to make another set of pot holders for the store, but I want to wait until I sell off some items first before putting any more in.
